RESEARCH INITIATIVES
| Members of the BC TNE community are deeply committed to conducting and disseminating findings from empirical research in order to enrich and broaden the current teacher education knowledge base and improve teacher education. BC TNE has brought together researchers and practitioners from a variety of intellectual traditions to work together to improve teacher education. The resulting portfolio of studies is intended to answer a range of research questions relevant to improving teacher education and pupils' learning. The studies are intended to speak to one another and together to provide a direction for the BC teacher education program and other programs to follow in improving outcomes for teacher candidates, teachers, and pupils. |

We have compiled several resources that have been generated from the conceptual and empirical work conducted by BC TNE. These resources include survey instruments, interview and observation protocols, and conceptual frameworks we have used in our research endeavors. More information, as well as access to several of these resources, are provided on this site. |
